Young M.A. Performs 'Ooouuu' on 'Wendy'
Making her daytime television debut, Young M.A. stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” for a performance of “Ooouuu.”
The New York rapper delivered her street smash, which has so far peaked at No. 85, for fans in attendance who knew the song’s words. Even Wendy got in on the action, yelling out “Headphanie” at one point.
After the performance, M.A. spoke with Williams about how some fans thought the song was made by a man when they first heard it. “I understand it,” said M.A. “I am very aggressive. I get it. It’s cool. It’s just part of the game. You got a lot of people that criticize you, but I get so much love, I don’t pay attention to the negativity.”

She later explained why she turned down the role of Freda Gatz (originally named Betty Bars) on “Empire” in order to focus on her own career.
“I definitely turned it down because Young M.A. wasn’t developed yet,” she said. “It was a great opportunity but it wasn’t the opportunity for me at the time.”
Finally, M.A. opened up about rumors that she’s dating model and DJ Tori Brixx. We’re definitely getting to know each other,” she said. “Cool girl right there.”
