New Music: YG feat. Lil Wayne - 'Trill'

  /  12.08.2016

YG and Lil Wayne are counting down to 2017 by keeping it “Trill.”

The G-funk banger is part of Red Bull’s “20 Before 17” series, a reflection of the company’s past year through its 20 biggest moments.

Over Boi-1da’s bounce-filled production, Weezy F. recalls his days in prison.

“I was locked up in a hole, I could’ve killed me, ni**a,” he raps. “Then the guard gave me some head, she felt guilty, ni**a / I brush my teeth a hundred times just to grill these ni**as / And I just walked up in the bank hummin’ ‘A Milli,’ ni**a.”

For his part, the Red Friday MC also keeps it G on the second verse, while relating to Tunechi’s long-running label woes. “I done had a fucked-up deal for about four-plus years,” he raps. “But in God I trust, so I’m still with ya.”

Keep it “Trill” with YG and Weezy below.
