A Tribe Called Quest & Busta Rhymes Perform on 'Kimmel'

  /  12.10.2016

After topping the Billboard 200 with their first album in 18 years, A Tribe Called Quest continued their comeback on late night.

Appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Friday, the remaining members of Tribe — Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White — hit the outdoor stage for a medley of bangers from their latest LP, We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service.

Joined by longtime collaborator Busta Rhymes, the crew began with the reggae-inspired “Dis Generation.” Dressed in all black, they pointed their hands to the sky as the late Phife Dawg’s lyrics played for the crowd. “Get ’em Phife,” yelled Bus.

After “Dis Generation,” they kept the party rocking with “We the People…,” another standout from We got it from Here… However, the full performance was not televised.

Prior to their West Coast visit, ATCQ also performed on “SNL” last month with Busta and Consequence.

Released Nov. 11 through Epic Records, We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service debuted at No. 1 with 135,000 equivalent album units.
