Solange Performs 'Rise' and 'Weary' on 'Tonight Show'
Solange brings A Seat at the Table to late night.
Following her performance on “SNL” last month, the R&B songstress captivated viewers with an exhilarating medley of “Rise” and “Weary” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday (Dec. 15).
Backed by singers and a live band, Solange delivered the soothing harmonies that made A Seat at the Table one of the year’s most widely-celebrated releases and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance.
While she connected with her fans emotionally, she literally connected with her singers, as fabric on stunning red jumpsuits linked them into a trio.

Solange’s mother Tina Lawson designed the outfits, based on Solo’s idea, and she shared this with a proud mom’s joy.
“These are jumpsuits that I designed and Tim White made for Solanges performance on Jimmy Fallon,” she wrote on Instagram. “They make our work look good ! I am soo proud of my baby. can’t wait to see the performance. Jimmy Fallon. Solange ‘s idea to connect them. she’s always thinking out the box.”
