Video: Trap Beckham - 'Going Down'
After heating up the summer with his breakout hit “Birthday Bitch,” Trap Beckham is back with another banger. The rising Jacksonville, Fla. rapper keeps the party going in the lit video for “Going Down.”
Originally released as part of Def Jam’s Direct Deposit, Vol. 1 compilation, “Going Down” is full of bounce, fun, and boasts. The video, premiering exclusively via Rap-Up, matches that energy as Trap dances with double red cups in hand in front of the Magic Mall.
As the clip continues, “The Golden Boy of the Hood” does what he loves, performing in front of adoring fans at the Florida Classic. Elsewhere, they dance along and twerking even ensues in the parking lot.
“I can’t wait to present to the world another release from Trap Beckham, and show the world another side of my myself as an artist,” Beckham told Rap-Up. “I’m proud to represent the Def Jam roster and be one of the artist whose song was selected on the Direct Deposit EP. I’m going to be here a long time so get used to the voice and recognize the face…because I got this bitch going down!!! It’s the new Def Jam!”
