Lil Yachty Announces Debut Album 'Teenage Emotions'

  /  01.12.2017

Lil Yachty is ready for his debut.

After breaking onto the scene last year and unleashing a slew of new material, the self-proclaimed King of the Teens has announced his debut album title: Teenage Emotions.

“This is the title of my album,” he tweeted. “It will be fire.”

Even without an official album, Lil Boat has made an impact. His song “1 Night” off last year’s Lil Boat peaked at No. 49 on the Hot 100. Meanwhile, “Broccoli,” his collaboration with D.R.A.M. off Big Baby D.R.A.M., managed to make it to No. 5 on the chart.

Last year, Yachty was named one of Rap-Up’s Best New Artists thanks to Lil Boat and Summer Songs 2, another project he released in 2016.

The Atlanta rapper has not yet revealed which tracks will make his debut LP, but last year, he gave fans a preview of what to expect. In November, he debuted “Judgement Free” on Beats 1. “This is just who I am,” he sings on the track. “This is just how I was created / Don’t you judge who I am / ‘Cause I still think that I’m the greatest.”

So far, Teenage Emotions has no release date.
