Video: Sevyn Streeter feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Cam Wallace - 'Fallen'

  /  01.30.2017

After debuting the song last week, Sevyn Streeter turns up the heat in the provocative video for “Fallen” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace, premiering exclusively on Rap-Up.

Inspired by New Edition’s ’80s classic “If It Isn’t Love,” the seductive song gets a steamy visual to match. Donning cutout white lingerie while laying in a bed of roses, Sevyn celebrates Valentine’s Day early in the Mike Ho-directed clip, playing a seductress while Ty falls for her irresistible charm. Under red lights, Sevyn entices her man with her sexy body and moves between imagery of a burning rose and falling snow.

“If this isn’t love, why do I feel this way?” asks Sevyn. “Why does he stay on my mind?”

“Fallen” is the latest release in Sevyn’s Girl Disrupted series, leading up to her debut, due later this year. The album has already spawned the Gucci Mane-assisted “Prolly,” “My Love for You,” “D4L” featuring The-Dream, and “Before I Do.”

“‘Fallen’ is the perfect description of attraction so intense, it’s intoxicating,” Sevyn tells Rap-Up. “The moment right in between falling in love and being in lust. That rare space where your emotions are still under control, but not for too much longer. You just can’t get enough of that person, and falling for them seems inevitable. The song features Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace (who also produced the track). Both of them killed their verses! Director Mike Ho and I are back at it again for the fifth video from the Girl Disrupted video series. He just gets me! We wanted the video to be as sensual as the song.”

You can currently catch Sevyn on her “Girl Disrupted Tour,” which makes it way to Santa Ana, San Diego, Oakland, Santa Cruz, and Sacramento, before wrapping Feb. 12 in Los Angeles.
