Pharrell Williams & Helen Lasichanh Welcome Triplets

Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh have three major reasons to celebrate. The couple welcomed triplets this month, according to Vanity Fair.

So far, Williams’ rep would only confirm the news, but the babies’ names and sexes have not yet been revealed. “The family is healthy and happy,” the rep told E! News.

Prior to this, the couple simply informed fans that they were expecting in September 2016. However, news of the triplets came as a surprise to many.

The new trio has a big brother in P and Helen’s first son, Rocket, who is now eight years old.

To give insight into how Pharrell and Helen chose Rocket’s name, the famous producer/rapper extraordinaire once told Oprah: “In the same way the Indians named their children after a force or animal or element, we named him after a man-made machine that was meant to go up, meant to ascend.”

Pharrell has even more reasons to celebrate. Hidden Figures, the film he co-produced, is up for Best Picture at next month’s Oscars.
