Romance talks continue to follow Jennifer Lopez and Drake. On Tuesday (Feb. 21), J.Lo appeared on “Ellen,” where she was asked if she spent Valentine’s Day with Drizzy.
“No, he’s off on tour right now,” she said of the “Boy Meets World Tour” headliner.
During the interview, Lopez also opened up about their forthcoming collaboration. “We did a song together,” she said. “Actually, he sent me a song that he wanted me to be on and then I got on the song. So, we have a song together. I don’t know what he’s going to do with it.”
The song, which was previewed in December, is a dance-infused take on Black Coffee’s Bucie-assisted 2010 single “Superman.” Footage from what appeared to be a music video shoot leaked, showing the pair kissing and dancing together while the banger played in the background.
It’s unclear where their collaboration will land, but it could arrive on Drizzy’s upcoming Apple Music playlist More Life.
During her “Ellen” interview, J.Lo also responded to rumors that she only dates younger men like, say, Drake. “I don’t date younger men,” she said. “It’s not like you have to be younger. It’s not about that. I just meet people and if I go out with them, I go out with them, and if I like them, I like them, and if I don’t, I don’t. It’s about the person. It’s about who they are. It has nothing to do with age.”
As for the J.Lo and Drake cuddle photo that surfaced on social media? “We were just hanging out,” she noted.
Elsewhere during the Q&A, J.Lo said she’s not likely to return as a judge on “American Idol,” if the show does make a comeback, but she is open to performing at the Super Bowl next year.
