ScHoolboy Q Gifts Injured Fan Grammy Hoodie

Groovy Tony loves his fans. The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper recently caught wind of a die-hard supporter who suffered several injuries in a car accident while wearing her favorite ScHoolboy Q sweater and he surprised her with a special package.

“Behold, my most beloved @groovyq sweater that I wore on the day of the car accident,” she wrote in a candid post on Instagram. “That blood is from the scratches and gashes from the broken glass window pieces, especially the hole it made underneath my chin. The paramedics rushed to the scene as fast as possible, bless their souls for saving my life and rushing me to a Trauma1 hospital in Fresno.

“They told me they needed to cut up my sweater but I wouldn’t let them,” she added. “Even with my fractured ribs I somehow made myself strip this piece of clothing to save it. At the time I didn’t think of my concussion, shattered pelvis, fractured ankle, broken and dislocated toes, lacerated kidney and spleen, fractured ribs or my punctured right lung. No, I thought of @groovyq @topdawgent and how I was still finna rock this crippled or not.”

Q saw this post and offered some surprises. “How bout I send u 3 sweaters??” he wrote in a reply on IG. “Also I’ll send you tHe ‘GIRL POWER’ HOODY I WORE AT THA GRAMMYS!!! Ima Have my ppl get ya info for me… get well youngin.”

On Twitter, he added: “I got sum stuff for u…. sorry about wat Happened to u get well”

After her story began circulating, Baltazar celebrated Q’s positive message. “Hoova’s hoodie is making headlines because it spoke so much when he wore it to the Grammys aside his daughter who he dressed in a full Gucci suit,” she wrote. “The sweater was also one of a kind made by his designer: sewn, died, and printed for him to match his daughter for the event. I am so appreciative that I don’t falsely love a famous person for having zero talent or any impact on the world which is sadly so prevalent these days.”

ScHoolboy is currently working on the follow-up to last year’s Grammy-nominated Blank Face LP. Recently, he said it will show fans a “different side” of his personality. “This is more so my life after I made it to the point of ScHoolboy Q,” he explained. “I gave you me [on past projects], but I never gave you the other side of me, the father, the dude that’s actually happy, the dude that doesn’t be in the hood just hanging out, the dude that’s trying to put his homies in position now.”
