Drake Brings Out The Weeknd in Germany
OVOXO unites.
The 6 God and Starboy connected once again on Saturday (Feb. 25), during Drake’s “Boy Meets World Tour” stop in Oberhausen, Germany.
Performing under red lights, Abel Tesfaye surprised Drizzy’s audience with a rendition of his massive hit, “The Hills.” Afterwards, the two embraced onstage and called one another “the real Starboy,” before Weeknd bowed to his one-time mentor.

This surprise follows Drake’s cameo in the XO boss’s star-studded “Reminder” video, which also featured A$AP Rocky, French Montana, YG, and Bryson Tiller, among others. It also arrives as Abel continues his own “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour” overseas.
There might be even more in store from the Toronto duo, who worked together extensively on Drake’s Take Care LP before they went their separate ways. In November, Abel even teased a potential joint project.
“He came in as my big bro and showed the world what I could do,” he said. “From then on, he’s always been supporting me and I’ve always been supporting him. Behind the scenes, we’re still very close but it’s cool that the world can see us doing our own thing. OVOXO will always be there.” Of the possible joint project, he added: “Maybe. Why not?”
