Foxy Brown is reportedly a new mom. The 38-year-old rapper recently gave birth to her first child, a baby girl.
The report comes via Brown’s friend Wendy Williams, who revealed the news on her daytime talk show on Thursday (March 2).
“Congratulations to Foxy Brown,” said Williams (via BET). “She had a baby girl.”
News of Brown’s pregnancy had not yet been revealed. The identity of the baby’s father is also unknown. “No word on exactly who the baby’s father is but allegedly it’s a reggae star and I’m not going to say his name because I think that me and Foxy have some sort of relationship,” she added.
About three months ago, Foxy canceled a Detroit concert due to health trouble. “My Holiday Weekend Was Spent Hospitalized, And (Per My Dr’s Orders) To Remain On Bed Rest,” she wrote. “I Was Rendered Unable To Travel, Pissed! But Our Health Is Pivotal Without That There’s Nothing.”
The post was soundtracked by “Solid as a Rock,” a single by reggae star Sizzla, who collaborated with Foxy on “Come Fly With Me.”
Foxy has not released an official studio album since 2001’s Broken Silence. Nevertheless, she’s stayed in the headlines. Last year, she received the key to Brooklyn and controversially endorsed Donald Trump.
