New Music: Lupe Fiasco - 'ANKH:HER'
Fresh off the release of DROGAS light, Lupe Fiasco has announced DROGAS Wave and he’s also unleashed a new banger, “ANKH:HER.”
Carrera Lu uses Michael Christmas’ “Everything Burrito” instrumental to deliver his latest offering. Over Rich Kidd’s production, he rhymes about balance, perspective, police brutality, and death.
“May I die from a hand that is not black,” he raps. “Lie down my crown where Mike Brown dropped at.”
Christmas heard the song and promoted it on Twitter. “In 2017 lupe fiasco dropped a freestyle over my song and just like that im sure this is all a dream,” he tweeted. “lol.”

Earlier this week, Fiasco announced DROGAS Wave would be “coming soon.” He even released what appears to be the album cover on Twitter.

In 2015, Lupe announced that DROGAS, SKULLS, and DROGAS light would be released. So far, only the latter has dropped. It’s currently unclear whether DROGAS Wave is a replacement for one of the other two projects or an entirely new LP.
