Video: Future - 'My Collection'

  /  04.12.2017

With “Mask Off” currently burning up the Hot 100, Future unleashes the NSFW music video for his HNDRXX opener “My Collection.”

Directed by Nick Walker, the black-and-white visual finds Pluto rhyming about a failed romance and codeine habits. “If I hit you once,” he raps. “You part of my collection.”

Meanwhile, more and more nude women stand behind him, as if bringing these lyrics to life. Then, once the confessional cut comes to its end, Hendrix walks away with his ladies in tow.

“My Collection” is a single off HNDRXX, which was released a week after Future back in February. At the time, the Freebandz boss explained why this song in particular would be an attention grabber.

“I feel great about everything that I’m saying,” he explained. “Whenever you deliver on tracks, to not hold nothing back, and this is me not holding anything back…People might react to it different. They might tweet about it different. Or however somebody might think it’s directed to them…I hate that I have to be the person that touch on their life and be personal and direct with certain situations but I’m glad it’s me than anybody else.”

Currently, Hendrix has five songs on the Hot 100, starting with “Mask Off” at No. 11. From there, his Maroon 5 collaboration “Cold” is at No. 28, “Selfish” with Rihanna is at No. 77, “Draco” is at No. 87, and his Kodak Black collaboration “Conscience” stands at No. 93.
