Big Boi Performs 'Mic Jack' on 'The Tonight Show'
Big Boi returns to late night. Still sizzling off his Adam Levine-assisted single “Mic Jack,” the Outkast MC brought the song to life for the first time on “The Tonight Show.”
The Maroon 5 frontman couldn’t make the performance, but Big didn’t go it alone. Backed by The Roots, Sleepy Brown, and a group of backup singers, Daddy Fat Saxxx rocked out to the Michael Jackson-inspired cut while standing on a foggy bed of clouds.
Last week, Big Boi dropped “Mic Jack” and “Kill Jill,” a collaboration with Killer Mike and Jeezy. Both are singles off General Patton’s forthcoming album Boomiverse.

The project is set to feature Gucci Mane, CeeLo Green, and unreleased vocals from the late Pimp C, as well as production from Dr. Luke, Scott Storch, DJ Dahi, and Organized Noize.
Marking his third solo album after 2010’s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty and 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, Boomiverse is due in June.
