Karrueche Tran to Testify Against Chris Brown in Court

Karrueche Tran is reportedly prepared to testify against Chris Brown in the restraining order case that she filed against the “Party” singer earlier this year.

According to TMZ, the model-actress is set to testify that Brown “punched” her in the stomach, “kicked” her down a flight of steps, and threatened to kill and shoot her. Past reports indicate that this would have taken place while Brown was on probation for assaulting Rihanna.

Tran tried and failed to serve Brown with the restraining order for two months before finally serving him with the legal docs after his birthday party this past week.

Sources say Tran is trying to be an inspiration for other women who are in similar relationships. According to them, it’s taken Karrueche a long time to reach this point, but death threats made her more open to speaking out.

Rihanna reportedly did not cooperate with authorities in her 2009 case. Following a plea from Chris, the “Work” singer was not asked to testify.

Karrueche has not spoken publicly about testifying in the case.
