Young Thug Previews Country Song
Yeehaw! As he gears up for his singing album, Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls, Young Thug is giving fans a preview of his country-inspired song.
“Yellow school busses,” he sings in the clip, which he posted on Instagram. “That’s a Xany / Causing me to sleep and I ain’t plan it / Yeehaw!”

The project, which will reportedly be executive produced by Drake, was first announced in April. “Singing album this week,” he tweeted. “EASY BREEZY BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS….Michael Thugger Jackson @Wale voice! @Drake will be EP’n my singing album..Singing to only my type on this project…’rika.'”
His self-assigned deadline came and went, but earlier this month, Thug’s engineer Alex Tumay said the project was “far” from done. “Working non stop on getting the project y’all deserve,” he tweeted.
Far from it.

In an interview with Genius that same week, Tumay also revealed that the entire LP is an ode to Thug’s girlfriend, Jerrika Karlae, and that he’s recorded and scrapped dozens of tracks.
“I think for [Thug], singing has to do with the romantic element more than the melodic element,” said Tumay. “Because he’s always melodic, even in his harder songs. ‘Danny Glover’ has some of the greatest melodies of all time.”
