Video: Mary J. Blige feat. A$AP Rocky - 'Love Yourself'

Mary J. Blige is still coming out strong.

After singing on top of Los Angeles in the video for “Strength of a Woman,” the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul heads to New York for the A$AP Rocky-assisted “Love Yourself” remix.

Following aerial shots of New York City’s bright lights at night, MJB rocks a glamorous gown while singing under a chandelier. Backed by a pianist and a full horn section, Mary shows off her confident beauty and strength.

Flacko doesn’t appear alone and instead, he comes with a clone. Together, the two Rockys go back-and-forth, rhyming about “fornicating with some twins like Ashley and Mary-Kate” before a dapper Jodye is joined by Mary J.

This new version of “Love Yourself” is a remix to the Kanye West-assisted original, which appears on Mary’s Strength of a Woman. It follows videos for “Thick of It” and the aforementioned title track.

Up next, Blige will headline the ESSENCE Festival on July 1 before heading out on the “Strength of a Woman Live” tour, from July 3 in Atlantic City through Sept. 9 in San Francisco.
