Video: Travis Scott - 'way back'

  /  05.31.2017

Travis Scott goes “way back” with James Harden.

Going into his vault, La Flame finally drops the visual for his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight single, starring the Houston Rockets all-star.

The self-directed clip begins with Harden reflecting on his career, while watching pundits criticize his game. From there, James takes it to the basketball court and hangs upside down while rapping along to “way back.”

Kid Cudi and Swizz Beatz, who are featured on the track, do not appear in the visual, but Travis does. At first, he’s merely playing a video game near Harden, but eventually, he sings along to his track while sitting in the backseat of his young friend’s droptop.

Surprising his fans today, Trav announced the adidas-filled clip on Twitter. “WAY BACK VIDEO,” he wrote. “I DID THIS FOR A PROJECT I DID IN HOUSTON A WHILE AGO. HERE U GO.”

Scott — whose albums Rodeo and Birds just went platinum — is wrapping up his “Birds Eye View Tour” before joining Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN. Tour.” This year, he’s also prepping for AstroWorld and a joint project with Quavo.
