New Music: Fifth Harmony feat. Gucci Mane - 'Down'
It’s going “Down.” Fifth Harmony teams up with Gucci Mane on the lead single off the group’s upcoming third album.
Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui hold it down as a quartet on the first release since Camila Cabello’s departure in December.
“Long as you’re holding me down, down, down / I’m gon’ keep lovin’ you down, down, down,” they sing, while Guwop reps his set: “We on the same team and we ballin’ / Got me showin’ off my ring like I’m Jordan.”
This isn’t the first time 5H has added hip-hop to the mix. In the past, they’ve also teamed up with Kid Ink (“Worth It”) and Tyga (“Like Mariah”) for 2015’s Reflection and Ty Dolla $ign (“Work From Home”), Fetty Wap (“All In My Head (Flex)”) and Missy Elliott (“Not That Kinda Girl”) on last year’s 7/27.
The girls are set to perform “Down” for the first time during “Good Morning America’s” Summer Concert Series tomorrow (June 2).
