Video: Tory Lanez feat. A$AP Ferg - 'Bal Harbour'

  /  07.01.2017

Tory Lanez and A$AP Ferg pull off a major heist in the animated video for their “Bal Harbour” collaboration.

Directed and animated by Tristan Zammit, the clip finds Swavey and the Trap Lord bathing in gold and cash. After robbing a safe, the duo evades police by diving into a strip club inside of Tory’s forehead.

The guys run into Ol’ Dirty Bastard, the Notorious B.I.G., and Tupac Shakur inside of the strip club. Even though the cops eventually find them in this skyscraper-tall forehead, the police become too distracted by the strippers to do their jobs.

Last year, Tory and Ferg teamed up on their “Level Up Tour” and collaborated on “Line Up the Flex.” This year, the two were part of Future’s “Nobody Safe Tour.”

In June of 2016, Ferg spoke with Rap-Up about his Tory bond. “He reminds me of when I first started doing shows,” said Ferg. “He gives 110 percent every night. I knew Tory way before he had a single on the radio. He used to come kick it with me and [our mutual friend] Sasha, who books a lot of shows and festivals and things like that. I met Tory early on.

“He’s a hard worker and I like that about people,” Ferg added. “I like to know, if I’m gonna collab with an artist or if I’m gonna tour with an artist, this is not gonna be it. He’s gonna keep going further and he’s gonna keep excelling as an artist. He’s got a bright future ahead of him.”

Last month, Tory said he was about “90 percent done” with his sophomore album, the follow-up to last year’s I Told You. It’s unclear whether “Bal Harbour” will appear on the LP.
