Congratulations are still pouring in for Beyoncé and JAY-Z, who welcomed their twins to the world last month, even though their names are still not officially known.
While they’re rumored to be named Rumi and Sir, the Carters have yet to make an official announcement, which gave “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” plenty to joke about in their latest on-the-street segment.
For this gag, “Kimmel” producers had fans on the Hollywood Walk of Fame congratulate Hov and Bey on their twins, giving them some hilarious, made-up names. “Congratulations so much,” said one fan. “You’re very lucky to have two beautiful children, Cucumber and Uvula.”
The fans seemed unsuspecting of the “Kimmel” producer’s fictitious names and they went along with their congrats. The ridiculous names included Denver and Omelette, Landline and Retweet, Pantene and Neosporin, and Bed Bath and Beyond-cé.”
In June, TMZ reported that Beyoncé and JAY-Z filed documents to trademark the names Rumi Carter and Sir Carter, fueling speculations about their baby names. Still, the high-profile couple has not announced their names publicly.
The twins were born on June 12 and had to stay in the hospital for a couple of weeks while they were treated for reported jaundice. They are the Carters’ second and third children, following their five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
