New Music: Keyshia Cole - 'Incapable'

  /  08.24.2017

After joining the cast of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” Keyshia Cole liberates another single off her upcoming album, 11:11 Reset.

Over an acoustic guitar and stirring soundtrack, the R&B songstress delivers heartbreaking lyrics about an ill-fated relationship and an “Incapable” partner.

“Every time it feels like this could be the last time,” she sings. “Where’s the good in goodbye if I give this one more try? / It’s hard because they say that true love, it never dies / Oh, what a feeling / The one that I thought that I needed / Was incapable of needing me back / Incapable of loving like that.”

Cole debuted “Incapable” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” back in January. The song follows “You” (featuring Remy Ma and French Montana) off her forthcoming Epic debut 11:11 Reset, which is set to feature DJ Khaled, Young Thug, and Tupac Shakur.

Speaking to Rap-Up in January, Keyshia revealed the album title’s significance. “For the past year, I’ve been seeing 11:11 constantly and to my understanding, you’re aligned spiritually with your destiny and everything that is meant to be in your life is happening at the right time,” she said. “The timing is right. Everything is right. Reset is definitely cohesive with that.”
