Drake and Jorja Smith Surprise Fans with 'Get It Together' Performance
Drake might be working on his fifth album, but that doesn’t mean that the OVO boss can’t take time out to surprise fans in the 6.
Drizzy did just that by popping up for an impromptu cameo at British singer Jorja Smith’s concert at the Velvet Underground in Toronto on Thursday (Aug. 24), where they performed their collaboration “Get It Together.”
Smith started off the More Life track with her live band before the 6 God made his way out on stage. As soon as his voice was heard on the mic, fans responded with thunderous cheers and applause.

Before leaving the stage, Drake said Jorja was “probably one of the most incredible voices, incredible talents, and incredible people that” he’s ever met. He then bowed to her and made his way out.
Prior to Smith’s appearance on the More Life track, fans heard the cut with Jennifer Lopez singing her parts. For undisclosed reasons, J.Lo was later replaced by Smith, who broke out last year with her Project 11 EP.
