RZA Announces New Wu-Tang Album 'The Saga Continues'

  /  08.26.2017

Three years after releasing A Better Tomorrow, the legendary Wu-Tang Clan is giving fans new music in the form of Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues.

Executive produced by RZA and produced entirely by the group’s longtime DJ Mathematics, The Saga Continues is set to feature Bobby Digital, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Inspektah Deck, Masta Killa, ODB, Redman, and Sean Price, among others.

“For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by Wu-Tang Clan members and other prominent MCs,” said RZA. “With The Saga Continues, he’s created a masterpiece. We at 36 Chambers ALC are honored to work with Mathematics to put out a great piece of art.”

The first single from the project, “People Say,” is out now, featuring Rae, Deck, Killa, and Red & Meth. It features the group’s trademark soulful flair, boom-bap drums, and movie excerpts. “Each line pack a fabulous punch,” Meth raps on the track, referencing Fabolous. “No diss to Ray J.”

The Saga Continues marks the first official release from the new partnership between 36 Chambers ALC and eOne. It is still unclear whether it will be an official album from the Wu-Tang Clan or simply a compilation project under the Wu-Tang umbrella.

Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues is due Oct. 13.
