  /  08.31.2017

Who ruled summer ’17? As the season comes to a close, Spotify is celebrating the biggest songs of the summer with a look at the most-streamed tracks.

As expected, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber lead both universal and domestic charts with their No. 1 hit “Despacito (Remix),” which earned 786 million streams since the first day of summer, June 21.

Elsewhere on the global chart, DJ Khaled’s Rihanna and Bryson Tiller-assisted “Wild Thoughts” pops up at No. 2, French Montana’s Swae Lee-aided “Unforgettable” dances at No. 3, and DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, and Lil Wayne pop up at No. 4 with “I’m the One.”

Calvin Harris’ “Feels” (featuring Pharrell, Katy Perry, and Big Sean) ranks high at No. 7, while Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO TOUR Llif3” shows up at No. 13.

There are some similarities and some differences on the domestic front, where “Despacito (Remix)” comes in at No. 1, too. However, “XO TOUR Llif3” climbs all the way up to No. 2, “Wild Thoughts” falls to No. 3, and “Unforgettable” dips to No. 4. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” which was No. 16 on the global side, rises to No. 5 on the U.S. chart. The domestic chart also includes “I’m the One” at No. 6, Post Malone’s Quavo-assisted “Congratulations” at No. 7, 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” at No. 8, Khalid’s “Location” at No. 9, and Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” at No. 10.
