Migos Performs 'Too Hotty' on 'TRL' Premiere
Nine years since the show went off the air, “TRL” returned to MTV with some help from Migos, who kicked off the highly-anticipated premiere with a live performance of “Too Hotty.”
Decked out in ice, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff shined brightly in the middle of Times Square, right outside MTV’s iconic studio. In front of screaming fans, the trio launched into their Quality Control collaboration.

The group also revealed that QC’s compilation Control the Streets, Vol. 1 will arrive in November, but they didn’t share a Culture II release date, prompting speculation about its future.
Aside from Migos, the premiere episode featured an appearance from Ed Sheeran, who performed “Perfect” and “Castle on the Hill,” and DJ Khaled, who was named “The Godfather of TRL.”

Accompanied by Asahd, the hip-hop mogul helped the show raise the Times Square Ball, as a “Welcome Back” to the series, which has not been a regular program on the network since 2008. With a series of hosts and correspondents, including Tamara Dhia, Amy Pham, Eric Zachary, Liza Koshy, and DC Young Fly, is set to air live on weekdays at 3:30 p.m. ET.
