New Music: blackbear feat. Tinashe - 'Up in This'
Hot off his Cam’ron collaboration “Bright Pink Tims,” blackbear links up with Tinashe for the strip club anthem “Up in This.”
Over a hypnotic beat that pulsates with hip-hop, trap, and electronic influences, Tinashe harmonizes about making it rain. “Got the club feeling like a safe house,” she sings. “All this damn money, let it rain down / We ain’t going home, we want to hang out / We up in this bitch!”
For his part, blackbear raps about his lifestyle, which he equates to the one Drizzy is living. “It’s like I’m Drake now,” he rhymes. “My shit is way out / Mama got a lake house / We up in this bitch!”
“Bright Pink Tims” and “Up in This” are expected to appear on black’s upcoming album Cybersex, which is due Nov. 27. And he plans to keep dropping new music while on Fall Out Boy’s “M A N I A Tour.” “im actually releasing half the album early cuz i care for my cubz,” he tweeted. “cybersex is 14+ songs.”
Meanwhile, Tinashe is still at work on her anxiously awaited Joyride LP.
