Cardi B Performs 'Bodak Yellow' at MOBO Awards

Cardi B makes “Money Moves” at the MOBO Awards. The Bronx bombshell performed her chart-topping smash “Bodak Yellow” at the British awards show, which took place at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Wearing a black coat, barely-there black shorts, and thigh-high black boots to match, an animated Bardi lit up the stage, performing a censored version of the chart-topping single with four backup dancers in tow.

Amid neon lights, Bardi got sensual, seductive, and provocative. She dropped it down low, electrifying the stage with eye-popping moves as confetti flew around her.

After the performance, Cardi spoke directly to her British fans. “Thank you for having me,” she said. “This is really a American dream, to be loved all over the world. Thank you.”

The “Lick” star was nominated for Best International Act, a trophy Wizkid took home. Other big winners included Stormzy (Best Male Act, Best Grime Act, and Best Album for Gang Signs & Prayer), Giggs (Best Hip Hop Act), and Craig David (Best R&B/Soul Act).

Before rocking MOBO, Cardi went on a promo run, where she met Ed Sheeran and talked about her wish to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming royal wedding free of charge. Now, she is finishing up her debut album, which is expected in the new year.
