Wiz Khalifa & Ty Dolla $ign Perform 'Something New' on 'Tonight Show'
Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign brought “Something New” to late night with a performance of their latest collaboration on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday (Dec. 5).
Dressed in a shimmering velvet jacket over a green button down shirt, unbuttoned to show off his chains, Khalifa Man kicked off the performance. Next to him, Ty rocked a wide-brimmed hat and patterned shirt over a white tee. With colorful lights shining around them, the Taylor Gang duo performed this smooth cut with a keys player, drummer, and a DJ.
The Hitmaka-produced song first arrived back in August with a summer-ready video following shortly after. “This is my first official single off of the album,” Wiz told Genius. “It’s just to let people know what I’m bringing to the table is going to be different. This is just to make people feel good and show the vibe that I’m bringing. This is where Im at in my life.”
Khalifa’s upcoming album, the tentatively-titled Rolling Papers 2, is set to follow his latest mixtape, Laugh Now, Fly Later, which dropped last month.
