XXXTentacion Charged with 8 More Felonies

XXXTentacion has been hit with more felonies.

Prosecutors have charged the 19-year-old rapper with eight additional felonies in his 2016 domestic violence case, bringing his total to 15.

The new charges all stem from witness tampering, which allegedly took place in October 2016 when XXX was arrested for domestic violence. He is accused of beating his ex-girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time.

Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that the “Look At Me!” hitmaker made multiple phone calls in jail, which were recorded. The evidence from those calls resulted in the new charges.

XXXTentacion was sent to jail on Friday (Dec. 15) on seven felony charges because the new charges were a violation of his bond. Prosecutors say he tried to coerce the girlfriend into not testifying.

The rapper is being held without bail, and his phone privileges have been revoked. He will remain behind bars until trial and faces decades in prison if convicted.
