After working with superstars like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Chris Brown, DJ Khaled collaborators Andrew “Dru Brett” Harr and Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson are back as BLVK JVCK.
Formerly known as The Runners, the production duo behind DJ Khaled’s “Go Hard” and Rick Ross’ “Hustlin'” drops its second single “Mine Luv” featuring H.E.R. exclusively via Rap-Up. The hypnotic track, which follows September’s “Mind Games,” meshes their electronic sounds with the mysterious songstress’ soothing vocals.
Accompanied by a dance-centric video, “Mine Luv” finds H.E.R. looking for more from her relationship. “Open your eyes,” she sings. “We’re always naked, show me your mind / Put on a blindfold / Let’s not be blind / If you gon’ jump ship, don’t waste my time.”
“So much music that comes out sounds like the same ol’ shit,” Dru tells Rap-Up. “What’s so dope about working with H.E.R. is that she brings her own unique vibe. She’s the real deal!”
Mayne added: “The process of making this record was amazing, working with great talent like Lisa Vitale, Kennedi, and H.E.R. Everything came together like magic.”
