Travis Scott & Quavo's 'Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho' Set to Debut at No. 2

  /  12.29.2017

Travis Scott and Quavo are about to light up the charts, thanks to Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. The rappers’ collaborative album is expected to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with more than 80,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

Much of Huncho Jack’s success is based on streaming, according to Billboard. The project is only expected to rake in 15,000 to 20,000 in pure album sales. As a point of comparison, Taylor Swift’s Reputation, slated to return to No. 1, sold approximately 70,000 pure albums of its projected 90,000 total.

Elsewhere, The Greatest Showman soundtrack, featuring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya, is set to arrive in the top 5 with about 60,000 units.

Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho was one of the year’s most anticipated releases. Landing Dec. 22, the surprise effort featured appearances by Takeoff (“Eye 2 Eye”) and Offset (“Dubai Shit”).

Looking forward, Travis is prepping his third solo album AstroWorld for the new year, while Quavo will join Takeoff and Offset on Migos’ Culture II next month.
