Gucci Mane Biopic in the Works

Get ready for Guwop’s biopic.

Paramount Pictures and Imagine Entertainment — home to “Empire” and 8 Mile — are teaming up to create a film adaption of The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Imagine’s Brian Grazer and Erica Huggins are set to produce the project, while Gucci and Todd Moskowitz will executive produce. The film will be made through the studio’s Paramount Players arm.

Last month, La Flare teased an upcoming film based on his book. Co-written by Neil Martinez-Belkin, the autobiography dropped in September and became a New York Times Best Seller.

Guwop’s Autobiography depicted the Atlanta staple’s upbringing and career, including his bouts with addiction and incarceration, as well as his rehabilitation.

La Flare is no stranger to Hollywood. He previously appeared in 2012’s Spring Breakers and last year, he released the indie film The Spot. He also has plans to co-star with Rick Ross in a future independent film.

Outside of Hollywood, Gucci is working on his next album The Evil Genius as well as Glacier Boyz, a joint project with Migos and Lil Yachty.
