Watch Lil Yachty's Funk Flex Freestyle

  /  03.12.2018

Fresh off the release of Lil Boat 2, Lil Yachty drops a Funkmaster Flex freestyle.

Over the instrumental to Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin’,” Boat unleashes a few punchlines about his dough and his sex game.

“Too player,” he raps. “Why you hate? I’m too rare / Young ni**a, I’m a fresh prince, could’ve bought a crib out in Bel-Air / Fuckin’ on a bitch from Delaware.”

Flex recently called several rappers wack on Instagram, including G-Eazy, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Pump. He also asked Lil Yachty if he had “anything new” at the time. Boat replied: “Don’t start wit me flex.”

The two eventually linked up on a phone call and decided to create this freestyle video together. “Ni**as is gonna hate regardless so I’m here,” said Yachty. “Ni**as can’t say I didn’t do it. I’m the type of ni**a that at least I says I did it. Otherwise, I’d be sitting at home wishing I did it.”

Lil Boat 2 is projected to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 60,000 to 70,000 equivalent album units (8-10,000 traditional), following behind Logic’s Bobby Tarantino II, which is expected to sell between 110,000 and 125,000 units (27-32,000 traditional).

Up next, Yachty is joining Migos and Gucci Mane for the Glacier Boyz project. Boat recently told Genius that the album will be released within the next four to five weeks.
