Cardi B to Perform on 'SNL' in April
“SNL” is about to party with Cardi.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper will serve as musical guest on the show’s April 7 episode, with host Chadwick Boseman of Black Panther fame.
This will be Cardi’s “SNL” debut, but that hasn’t stopped her from being an influence on the late-night program. Actress Tiffany Haddish impersonated Bardi in a skit about The Lion King auditions in November.

Cardi is planning to release her highly-anticipated debut album next month featuring the chart-topping smash “Bodak Yellow” and gold-certitified single “Bartier Cardi.”
The Bronx bombshell was scheduled to release a video for the latter during VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop: New York” reunion special last week, but it has been delayed.
The “SNL” news also follows pregnancy rumors. Although Cardi and her fiancé Offset have denied those reports, sources say they are expecting a baby in July. Still, Bardi is scheduled to perform at Coachella in April and she’s planning to tour with Bruno Mars in September.
