New Music: A$AP Rocky - 'Who Run It (Freestyle)'
A$AP Rocky joins G Herbo’s Three 6 Mafia celebration with his “Who Run It” freestyle, which he unleashed via Instagram.
Over booming production, Flacko raps about his stylish ways and racing Tyler, the Creator in a McLaren. He also has some rhymes that may cause controversy. “Make a bitch wanna stare or somethin’,” he raps. “Ni**as stare, you queer, son?”
Later, he brags about “sunny diamonds,” running things, and taking flights to France. “Smiley faces with the glasses,” he adds. “Fashion brands invite you to Paris.”
To go along with his new freestyle, Rocky also released an AWGE-directed visual. It features an array of images splashed together with chaotic cuts and frenetic special effects.
Three 6 Mafia dropped the original “Who Run It” back in 2000. G Herbo also repurposed the instrumental for a song by the same name this year. Upon releasing the track, Flacko shouted out both acts on Instagram.
“Who Run It” also follows a string of buzz tracks from Rocky. Most recently, he dropped “Bad Company” with BlocBoy JB and “One Track Mind” with Thirty Seconds to Mars. He is now working on the follow-up to 2015’s At.Long.Last.A$AP.
