Lil Wayne Reveals His Top 5 G.O.A.T. Rappers

Lil Wayne is often regarded as a G.O.A.T. But the New Orleans rapper’s own top 5 list features other great hip-hop acts.

Revealing his favorites to Complex, Tunechi said his top 5 G.O.A.T. list includes Cam’ron, UGK, 8 Ball & MJG, Missy Elliott, and JAY-Z.

Misdemeanor saw the post and responded with pride. “I am truly honored & humbly grateful,” she said. “Such a Blessing.”

Many have called Tunechi a G.O.A.T. as well. In March of 2016, Kendrick Lamar heaped the praise on Weezy. “Lil Wayne is the greatest,” he said. “Not only because of his music but also because of the culture he put behind it. It was a big part of what he was talking about, so we always hold Lil Wayne in high regards.”

Drake and Nicki Minaj have also referred to Wayne as a G.O.A.T.

Despite the acclaim, Wayne remains in a constant legal battle with Cash Money. The rapper is suing his longtime label for $51 million. Due to this case, his long-awaited Carter V LP remains unreleased.

That isn’t stopping Tunechi from capitalizing in other ways. His “top 5 G.O.A.T.” list was part of an ad campaign for Bumbu rum.
