Ciara Says Future Misses Visits With Their Son

Ciara and Future continue the custody battle over their 3-year-old son. The singer filed court documents saying that the “Mask Off” rapper is often an absentee father, according to TMZ.

Future skips scheduled visits 37 percent of the time, frequently at the last minute, Ciara claims in the court docs. This reportedly causes conflicts with her schedule.

In addition to interrupting her itinerary, Future reportedly leaves their son with his grandmother and/or great-grandmother in Atlanta. Thus, Ciara is unable to FaceTime their child.

Moreover, Ciara says that their son Future has health issues that are worsened by constant travel. Frequent trips also reportedly leave him exhausted, resulting in “emotional breakdowns” at school.

Ciara is now asking for mediation to work on improving their son’s schedule.

The former couple dated from 2013 through 2014. Following their engagement and the birth of their son, they called the wedding off and parted ways. A legal battle over custody ensued, amplified and exacerbated by a social media feud.
