2 Chainz made quite a grand entrance at the Met Gala. Dressed in a dapper Versace suit, the Hair Weave Killer himself got on one knee and proposed to his longtime partner, Kesha Ward, on the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit Gala.
The touching moment seemed to catch Kesha off guard. She said yes and the couple beamed while talking to reporters. But the proposal came as a surprise for multiple reasons.
That’s because Tity Boi and Kesha have actually been married since 2013. They have three children together in Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. “This my everything,” Chainz told Vogue after the proposal. “She deserves it.”
Ward also enthusiastically celebrated the moment. “I feel so great,” she said. “I couldn’t believe this happened and this Versace makes me feel even better.”
Chainz, who also wore Versace, has a connection with the designer. Last week, the luxury brand dropped the “Chain Reaction” sneaker, inspired by the Hair Weave Killer himself.
