Big Sean & DJ Mustard Join Rémy Martin's Producers Series 'The Co-Sign'

  /  05.09.2018

Big Sean and DJ Mustard are looking for the next super-producer. As part of this quest, the rapper and producer are joining Season 5 of Rémy Martin’s “The Co-Sign,” a producer series that will travel the country in search of a potential hitmaker.

Aspiring producers can enter the contest via RemyProducers.com starting today. The stakes are high, as the winner of this contest will make a song and lyric video with Sean Don and Mustard.

“I’m glad I partnered with Rémy on this,” said Sean. “It’s perfect timing for me because I’m literally in the studio giving 100 percent of my attention to making music right now. It’s a great opportunity to link with aspiring producers and people who might have the next sound, or be the next big producer. It’s exciting to think a star can be discovered through this competition and that’s what I’m most excited for, is to find the next new talent and work with them!”

Sean, Mustard, and a team of experts will listen to submissions and decide who will move on. Producers will compete at a series of showcases, starting June 28 in New York City. Additional events will take place in Detroit (July 18), Las Vegas (Aug. 2), Miami (Aug. 9), Atlanta (Aug. 16), Chicago (Aug. 22), Houston (Aug. 30), and the finale in Los Angeles (Sept. 26).

Mustard is back with the producer series, which has also featured other beatmakers in the past, including Timbaland, Wyclef Jean, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Zaytoven. “I’m back at it with Rémy Martin calling on all producers to submit their beats for Season 5 of the Producers Series,” said Mustard. “Big Sean and I are looking for the hottest new tracks out there from anyone and everyone, whether a first time beat maker or fulltime producer. I’m here to help make dreams come true!”

This year, Rémy Martin is also teaming up with Live Nation for exclusive digital content, live events, and more. To celebrate their partnership, the two companies are joining forces on the Rémy Martin 1738 Limited Edition Speaker Box, which will launch in June.
