Future Taps Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, & Miguel for 'Superfly' Soundtrack

Future makes a movie on the soundtrack to Superfly, Sony Pictures’ reboot of the 1972 blaxploitation classic.

As executive producer and curator of the album and producer of the film, the Atlanta MC assembles an A-list cast including Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Sleepy Brown, and Miguel for the 13 tracks, which were inspired by Curtis Mayfield’s legendary soundtrack from the original Super Fly.

Future previously unleashed the PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted “No Shame” and “Bag” featuring Yung Bans. The next single, Khalid and H.E.R.’s “This Way,” will premiere June 5 on Apple Music, while Future’s Zaytoven-produced “Walk On Minks” drops June 6.

The Superfly soundtrack will be available on June 8. The highly-anticipated film, directed by Director X and starring Trevor Jackson, hits theaters June 13.
