New Music: Jay Rock - 'The Bloodiest'

  /  06.08.2018

Jay Rock is back with another banger. After celebrating with his TDE family in the video for “WIN,” the Watts rapper gets in the trenches on his autobiographical anthem “The Bloodiest.”

Over a West Coast-inspired beat, produced by Boi-1da, Allen Ritter, and Jake One, Rock reflects on his trials and tribulations, and isn’t afraid to show his battle scars.

“I’ve been through the bullshit, to the pulpit of shit’s creek,” he raps. “Been a nuisance to my OGs, got a new sense, 2018.”

On June 15, Jay Rock is set to release his third album Redemption featuring Kendrick Lamar (“Wow Freestyle”), J. Cole (“OSOM”), Future (“King’s Dead”), SZA (“Redemption”), and Jeremih (“Tap Out”), with production from Mike WiLL Made-It, Sounwave, Terrace Martin, Boi-1da, Hit-Boy, Vinylz, Cardo, and more. See the tracklisting below.
