T.I. Inspires Wyclef Jean Concept Mixtape

Wyclef Jean has gathered some of his famous friends for a 13-song EP, due November 10. From the Hut to the Projects to the Mansion was produced by DJ Drama and features Timbaland, Cyndi Lauper, Maino, and Eve. Jean embodies the role of Toussaint St. Jean, a persona suggested to him by his friend and collaborator T.I. The gritty mixtape is based loosely on the 18th-century Haitian revolutionary hero, Toussaint L’Ouverture.

Michael Jackson ‘This Is It’ Tracklisting, Single to Debut Online

Will the King of Pop rule the charts once more? On Monday at 12 a.m. EST/Sunday 9 p.m. PST, never-before-released music from Michael Jackson entitled “This Is It” will premiere online at MichaelJackson.com. The single features backing vocals from his brothers The Jacksons and was recorded during the sessions for his 1991 album Dangerous.

“This Is It” is the title track from a two-disc collection of songs, arriving October 27, a day before the This Is It documentary opens in a limited two-week engagement. Tracklisting below.

The newest addition to the Darkchild/Interscope Records family invited various media types to a private listening session, held at Legacy Studios in New York City. While journalists and bloggers sipped on Nuvo and Patrón, Verse explained the adventures of his single life, which he documented on his debut album, Stories of a Bachelor.
