Tracklisting: Iggy Azalea – ‘The New Classic’

The New Classic

The wait is over. After much anticipation, Iggy Azalea unveils the tracklisting for her debut The New Classic. Due April 22, the 12-track standard edition includes the singles “Work,” “Change Your Life,” and “Fancy,” while three additional tracks are featured on the deluxe.

The Aussie rapper taps Stargate, Timbaland, T.I., Mavado, Watch the Duck, Charli XCX, and Katy Perry, who co-wrote “Black Widow” featuring Rita Ora.

In a 2012 interview with MTV, Iggy explained the album title. “What makes something classic is when you hear it and you have that moment that is a time capsule,” she said. “When I say The New Classic, I just want to make records that give you that moment for fans that they can remember where they were when they heard it.”

The album is now available for pre-order on iTunes. If you purchase it, you will receive the instant track “Impossible Is Nothing.”

Tracklisting: Young Money – ‘Rise of an Empire’

Rise of an Empire

It’s a family reunion. Young Money gets back together for its second compilation, Rise of an Empire. Due March 11, the follow-up to 2009′s gold-selling We Are Young Money features 12 tracks from YMCMB’s all-stars including Drake, Nicki, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Lil Twist, Birdman, Christina Milian, Shanell, Chanel West Coast, and more.

In addition to the singles “We Alright” and “Senile,” Drake contributes the Hit-Boy-produced anthem “Trophies” and Nicki spits fire on the explosive “Lookin Ass.”

“We are in a great space. I think the whole team collectively just feels so together right now,” Nicki told Angie Martinez. “We all kinda just wanna win. We just workin’, no bad blood, no bad vibes at all.”

Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter V’ Tracklisting Revealed?

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V is still months away, but a tracklisting has hit the net. Engineer Mike B. reportedly held a listening session for the highly-anticipated—and possibly final—album from the Young Money chief.

One of the attendees, a close friend of the engineer, snapped a photo of the purported tracklisting, which he sent to Rap-Up along with some details.

Tracklisting: Pharrell Williams – ‘G I R L’

G I R L

Pharrell Williams reaches into his famous Vivienne Westwood hat and pulls out the tracklisting for his first album in eight years. The music mastermind rounds up some famous friends for his second LP G I R L, due March 3.

While in the U.K., he previewed the follow-up to 2006′s In My Mind for Noisey.

The 10 tracks include appearances from Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, and JoJo.

“Imagine if all of the talk show hosts in the world were women, all of the presidents were women, this is my gift to them,” said Skateboard P. “This album is dedicated to women across the world.”

Tracklisting: YG – ‘My Krazy Life’

My Krazy Life

On March 18, YG will enter the big leagues with his long-awaited debut My Krazy Life. The Compton rapper has revealed the tracklisting for the album, which will be released on Pu$haz Ink/CTE World/Def Jam.

The 14 tracks include the DJ Mustard-produced hit “My Ni**a” and the Drake-assisted follow-up “Who Do You Love?”

The hip-hop-heavy guest list also boasts appearances from Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign, and TDE’s own Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock.

“It’s gonna put me on that level with all the other mainstream artists,” YG told MTV News. “I’ve been considered an underground artist because I’ve been doing mixtapes and indie tours on my own, but this is gonna put me [in the] mainstream because the record label is gonna come in. They’re gonna put all the money behind me. All that branding will take it to another level.”

Kid Cudi Reveals ‘Satellite Flight’ Cover, Tracklisting

Satellite Flight

Kid Cudi has unveiled the cover art and tracklisting for his album Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon. The digital edition includes 10 tracks, with an appearance from Raphael Saadiq (“Balmain Jeans”).

“This is just the digital release track listing,” tweeted Cudi, who designed the cover himself. “New jams will be added for the physical, kind of like a extended ‘Directors Cut’!”

The Need for Speed star didn’t announce an exact release date, but previously said that it would drop sometime in February.

Satellite Flight, which includes production from Dot Da Genius, serves as a prelude to Man on the Moon 3.

“It’s all attached to the story,” he explained. “When Man on the Moon 3 comes out, you’ll be able to play this EP and segue into Man on the Moon 3. It will be a seamless connection.”

Tracklisting: Ashanti – ‘Braveheart’

The wait is over for Ashanti fans. On March 4, the R&B songstress will release her long-awaited fifth album Braveheart on Written Entertainment/eOne.

In addition to announcing an official release date, Ashanti has revealed the 13 tracks, which includes appearances from French Montana, Jeremih, and Beenie Man. Two additional songs are featured on the Target deluxe edition.

The video for her Rick Ross-assisted single “I Got It” will premiere this week. Ashanti will also shoot the video for her next single, “First Real Love,” later this month in Jamaica with reggae star Beenie Man.

Additionally, she is writing music for the upcoming Tupac biopic, to be released in 2015.
