Ameriie is loving the married life. The “1 Thing” singer and her husband Lennie Nicholson, who were married in June, looked happy as can be as they strolled hand in hand through Beverly Hills on Wednesday (Oct. 26).

Ameriie is set to make her return to music next year with her fifth album Cymatika, Vol. 1, which will incorporate elements of trance, electronic, house, heavy drums, and new wave.

“I really wanted to talk about the human experience,” she said. “I wanted to talk about other stuff, but in a way that’s still listenable.”

Ameriie headed overseas for a performance in the country of Georgia last week. The newly married singer strutted across the stage in a pink leotard and coat made of hair as she treated attendees to her 2005 hit “1 Thing” backed by two dancers. Ameriie played her best hand at the first-ever Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment Celebrity Poker Tournament at the W Hollywood last night. The newly married singer faced off against celebrities including The Hangover Part II‘s Jamie Chung, former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, and actor Lou Diamond Phillips to raise money for educational programming.

“Had an amazing night at @CAPEUSA Celeb Poker Tournament…I did pretty well 4 a beginner: I ALLLLmost won 2 hands! Lol,” she tweeted.

Ameriie breaks out of the box and explores new territory on her fifth album Cymatika, Vol. 1, which includes unorthodox topics ranging from ancient astronaut theory to androgyny to new world order mixed with elements of trance, electronic, house, heavy drums, and new wave.

“There’s a song about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah with extraterrestrials destroying them with nuclear weapons,” explained the Georgetown grad of “Sodom & G.” “I don’t feel like that’s really been done.”

Other tracks include the mechanical “Intimidation,” “Run for Cover,” and the likely first single “FireStarter (Private Dancer).” “I really wanted to talk about the human experience,” shared Ameriie. “I wanted to talk about other stuff, but in a way that’s still listenable.”

The honeymoon may be over, but that didn’t stop Ameriie from celebrating. The newly married singer partied the night away at LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday. She arrived shortly before 1 a.m. and settled into her VIP table with husband Lenny Nicholson, according to Haute Living.

The stunning star tested her skills in the DJ booth and shouted out a group of women who were celebrating a bachelorette party. The crowd was then treated to performances of “Gotta Work” and “1 Thing,” as she handed the mic to a few patrons to sing along. Before the night came to a close, she retreated to her table with her husband by her side.

“We were in front of the Flatiron Building in New York City, just having fun, hoping the sun would stay out because it was drizzling,” Ameriie told Rap-Up.com. “We took photos throughout the city. Including New York as the backdrop to our pictures was important because it’s where we fell in love.”

Young Money said farewell to 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend in grand style. Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj hosted an All-Star finale party at Boulevard3 in Hollywood following Sunday’s game. A blonde-haired Nicki held court in the balcony as Weezy smoked his cigar and drank juice from a bottle of smartwater. Cash Money’s DJ Khaled entertained the crowd and the beautiful Ameriie was seen flashing her engagement ring on the red carpet.

Ameriie journeys around the world on “Outside Your Body,” the Euro-pop lead single from her fifth album Cymatika Vol. 1, due next year. The track, written by Ameriie and produced by Andre Harris, Kasey Phillips, and Nikholai Greene, takes listeners on an international tour, infusing the banger with blinding synths and an infectious melody.

“Tell me where you want to go/ Let me take you to London town and Paris, yeah/ Tokyo and Seoul,” sings the sexy singer on the chorus before adding a few lines in Korean.

“‘Outside Your Body’ is about the recognition that we are eternal beings, that these physical bodies are not who we are, and how we should remember and celebrate our unlimited potential. We have no limits,” Ameriie explained to Rap-Up.com.
