Azealia Banks stepped out in style to the launch of Salvatore Ferragamo’s L’Icona leatherwear at The McKittrick Hotel in New York City last night. The fashion darling rocked red hair and eyebrows that matched her pants and shoes while posing against the floral backdrop.

The controversial rapper, who made headlines for her Twitter beefs, has been quiet on social media lately. She deleted the majority of her tweets and said that she will be handing over her account to her label.

Azealia’s debut Broke with Expensive Taste is still awaiting a release date. She has been in the studio with Frank Ocean producer Om’Mas Keith. “I was very pleased to find out that she was an amazing artist, an artist’s artist,” Keith told Rap-Up TV. “The stuff that I worked on is very refreshing and creative.”

Azealia Banks sets “Yung Rapunxel” free in the dark and demonic video for the first single off her upcoming debut Broke With Expensive Taste. Harlem’s controversial femcee will make your skin crawl as she raps with an owl on her head and mouths in place of her eyes. She rides a mechanical bull and fights the police in the sinister clip, which includes Illuminati references.

“It came from wearing long weaves,” Azealia said of her nickname. “If you could take your youth and stretch it forever, it’s like long youth.”

Azealia Banks worked the purple carpet in a black dominatrix outfit, sharing her excitement after meeting RuPaul backstage. Moms-to-be Tamar Braxton and Fergie flaunted their baby bumps, while a sexy Ciara showed off some leg in a long black dress.

“Ferigie-Licious Is Baby-Licious. Happy 4 Her!” tweeted CiCi, who caught up with the pregnant star on the carpet.

The smoke was thick and the laughter was loud when Snoop Dogg aka “Nemo Hoes” interviewed Azealia Banks on his GGN YouTube show. The hip-hop icon asked the Harlem rapper about getting her start, her debut Broke With Expensive Taste, and her alias Yung Rapunxel.

“It came from wearing long weaves,” explained Azealia. “If you could take your youth and stretch it forever, it’s like long youth.”

Maybe it was the weed, but Snoop didn’t seem to know his facts. “You have a deal?” he asked her before discovering that she is signed to Interscope.

He praised her for being a “Chocolate Diva” and shared a blunt with her.

“This is mad surreal right now,” said Azealia.

They bonded over their hate for Twitter trolls. “I’m not even talking to these n**as,” said Azealia, who is notorious for her Twitter beefs. “Like where do ya’ll ni**as even come from? And ya’ll ni**as are like grown ass men. Like get the f**k off the Internet.”
