Life on the road can be rough. But Big Sean stays connected to home by surrounding himself with family. In the latest installment of his vlog series, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper reflects on his support system while he travels from Detroit to Paris.
He opens up about being depressed before his big break, but with the help of his family, he was able to get through it. The video features appearances from Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Common, No I.D., Rita Ora, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco, Teyana Taylor, and T-Pain.
“You may or may not have a mom or dad or whatever but you’ve got something or someone you’re loyal to or who’s loyal to you,” says Sean. “I always heard blood makes you related and loyalty makes you family. The people I’m around, from my homies, mentors, crew—that’s my family. They’re my motivation. They’re the reason that these late nights happen, one of the reasons that it makes sense.”
Big Sean hit the red carpet with a hot date on his arm. The G.O.O.D Music MC and “Glee” star Naya Rivera arrived together to the premiere of the Jackie Robinson biopic 42 in Hollywood last night. Sean looked sharp in a black leather motorcycle jacket and slacks, posing with his arm around his new girl.
During an interview with Power 106, he called Naya the hottest chick he’s ever been with. She was also seen celebrating his 25th birthday last month.
