Following the Hollywood premiere, Ice Cube headed east for the New York premiere of Ride Along on Wednesday. The rapper-actor hit the red carpet with his co-stars Kevin Hart and Tika Sumpter. Cube plays an undercover cop in the film, which opens Friday. During his appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” he spoke about working with Hart, being a protective dad to his daughter, and getting his name on the Goodyear blimp.

In honor of his classic hit “Today Was a Good Day,” a charity campaign has been launched to get “Ice Cube Is a Pimp” on the Goodyear blimp on January 20. Only half of the $25,000 goal has been reached, but Cube has offered to pony up the rest of the money.

New Music: Bow Wow – ‘Like Mike’

Like Mike

Modesty is definitely not one of Bow Wow’s New Year’s resolutions. Mr. 106 & Park kicks off 2014 with the ego-boosting “Like Mike,” which borrows its title from the 2002 film he starred in.

Over the Young Chop-produced beat, he boasts about making $20 million off his “Scream” tours, his record sales (“Ya’ll rappers barely going gold/ I’m 10 million sold”), and shouts out his friend Chris Brown.

“Chris, keep yo head up and when you get out of rehab, we gon’ hit the road and get our bread up,” he raps.

“I had to really walk backstage to really get myself together. I’m rattled right now,” said Bow after the commercial break.

He later posted an Instagram video celebrating the moment. “Tyra touched these lips!” screamed Mr. 106 & Park.
