New Music: M.O.P. f/ Busta Rhymes – ‘Broad Daylight’

Thirteen years after teaming up on the remix to “Ante Up,” M.O.P. re-ups with Busta Rhymes for “Broad Daylight (187 Part 2).” The Brooklyn duo samples Jay Z’s “Success” (“I’ll off your on switch”) on the gritty street record, which also serves as the second part to “187.”

M.O.P. will celebrate 20 years with a new EP, Street Certified, which will be released on November 18 and is executive produced by DJ Premier.

After getting the remix treatment from Lil’ Kim, French Montana, and Jeezy, Bobby Shmurda drops the official remix to his single “Hot Nigga” featuring Chris Brown, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Yo Gotti, and Rowdy Rebel.

Over the Jahlil Beats production, Fab reps for the BK and Jada shouts out D-Block, but it’s Breezy’s verse that packs the most punch.

“Fresh up out the county, I done did a little bid / Let the po-pos run up on me, I won’t tell them coppers shit,” he raps, adding, “You keep talkin’ that shit, I’ll knock you out / A ni**a be pickin’ you up off of the ground for thinking you Tupac.”

Calm Down

Busta Rhymes and Eminem join forces, and no one is safe. The hip-hop superpowers unleash their Scoop DeVille-produced collaboration “Calm Down,” which features a sample of House of Pain’s “Jump Around.”

Bussa Bus breathes fires on his ballistic bars, while Slim Shady wreaks havoc, taking aim at everyone from Clive Davis to Abraham Lincoln to bloggers.

“Shady for president, ho / Don’t make me go take it back to the days of old Sway and Tech radio when I was taking so much NoDoz and LSD, I almost fell asleep on the ‘Wakeup Show,’” he spits.

Busta is gearing up for his 10th album E.L.E. 2, the sequel to 1998′s E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front.

As part of her Tiffany Tuesdays series, Tiffany Evans drops her Little Lady remix to Future’s “Move That Dope.”

The 21-year-old songstress, best known for her 2007 single “Promise Ring,” takes charge with her bossy remake, singing and rapping over the Mike WiLL Made It-produced beat. She also plans to release a video for the song.

Future’s Honest hit has also inspired a much different remix from Busta Rhymes.
